Mortimer House by Maslow's 37-41 Mortimer Street London W1T 3JH
About This Event
In the late 1980s, Andrew Pritchard was running warehouse raves. Then came Croydon, ecstasy, and a distribution network across Britain. Then smuggling on an industrial scale.
In 2004, he was arrested over £100 million worth of cocaine, one of the biggest seizures of its time. Two trials later, the case collapsed. He walked out and went straight back to smuggling.
It took a second arrest, and a 15-year sentence, for anything to change.
Inside, he watched young men arrive on life sentences for killing each other over postcodes and a few grams. He'd moved metric tons.
And he felt responsible.
That's where One Postcode started.
On 8 April, Andrew brought that story to Maslow's in Fitzrovia, live with Naroop Jhooti. Crime, accountability, and what redemption costs a man who has done real damage.
Then the room had its say.
If you weren't there this time, the next one is on the events page.
You don't need to be a dad to be here.

Guest Speaker

Guest Speaker
Andrew Pritchard
Andrew Pritchard is a former drug smuggler who now speaks and consults on crime, prison and second chances. While serving his sentence, he co-founded One Postcode, a gang mediation programme inside UK prisons. By his account, 93% of the conflicts it took on were resolved for good. His autobiography, Empire of Dirt, is out now. Andrew also joined Naroop on the podcast to talk about prison reform and the life that led him there.
